Stephen's not. He doesn't think math or grammar works, here!

Jesus had a dual nature. He was 100% God and he was 100% Man.
There is only One God and his name is Jesus.
God manifested Himself in the flesh (son).
The Holy Ghost was the "father" of the son (flesh).
When they saw Jesus they saw the Father.
Head knowledge and logic is not enough.. you must have a revelation of who Jesus is.
Jesus and His father were Absolutely One.
The mystery of Godliness is.. trying to understand His dual nature.
One question that I have about the word manifestation is that doesn't that take away from Jesus' human attributes. If I am saying that God's manifestation is Jesus doesn't that almost sound like Jesus was not human or not a real man. I guess God can manifest himself anyway he wants but does using this terminology take away from the 100% man theology.
Also, saying you must have a revelation of who Jesus is sounds a lot like the cults of the late nineteenth century such as JW, Mormons, and Church of Christ. All these groups claimed to have a special revelation and were the restorers of the gospel. Is it no wonder that with language like this we (UPCI) are lumped into the category of cults.
Pretty much a deist. From that sense, I believe there is only one God, but I don't get all tangled up in either Oneness or Trinitarian theology. I find the debate interesting, though. And amusing.

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. How can it be separated in any way from God? Or, how can God be the Holy Spirit...if the Holy Spirit is His Spirit?
Technically, 4 could be said to be confusing as well. Except I can see where that statement could be coming from. "I and the Father are one"...so who then, is the Father? Things like that. But God is God is God is God.

I'm going to get all mathematical on you again, but I have to point out that "God is The Son" is equivalent to "The Son is God", if "is" is commutative. And again, this is true if "God" is a name or proper noun, not an adjective (getting all grammatical again!). I used the orderings I did because that's how the diagram shows them.

God did it for us. Out of sheer generosity he put us in right standing with himself. A pure gift. He got us out of the mess we're in and restored us to where he always wanted us to be. And he did it by means of Jesus Christ. ~Romans 3:24 from The Message

Unless you believe Jesus was the "I Am" of the Old Testament manifested in the flesh you will die in your sins. One God, and His name is Jesus.

I think anything beyond believing Jesus is God is adding to the Bible... that includes any assumptions or theories either in the Oneness realm or the Trinity realm... and neither the term Oneness NOR Trinity are in the Bible. They are both man-made constructs to explain an idea and people on each side seem to think that if you do not believe their man-made construct/interpretation, etc. then your views are incorrect and will send you to hell.

So did the "I Am" of the Old Testament pass away?
Just curious...that's what this looks like to me. I'm always puzzled by statements like this. "I Am" is eternal.

Those "manmade constructs" are attempts at explaining the word of God. Do you believe in one absolute truth of who and what God is?
