I've been taught that there are only nine gifts of the Spirit (those listed in the first part of 1 Cor. chapter 12) and that all of them with the exception of tongues and interpretation can be found in the Old Testament.
An example of "interpretation" instead of "translation" can be found in
Daniel 5:25-28 where the "message" was:
mene, mene
tekel
upharsin
A "translation" would be
count, count
weight
division
The "interpretation" as given by Daniel was
God has numbered your kingdom, and finished it
You have been weighed in the balances, and found wanting
Your kingdom has been divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.
This has a couple elements of messages in tongues and interpretation:
repetition of a word (or words)
message and interpretation not the same length or number of words
