Dont tell me that you are ignorant of the fact that dark circles under the eyes many times are caused by a deficiency of iron in the diet, sufferred by both men AND women.
Or maybe you are ignorant of that...

I gave some VERY highly acclaimed NON RELIGIOUS material in reference to the WHY MEN and WOMEN around the world wear makeup, and the FACT that antrhopologists who have NO DOG IN THIS FIGHT, recognize the wearing of makeup in particular Lip makeup, eye makeup and cheek makeup as being attempts wether conscious or not, to send out a subliminal message to the opposite sex that they are in a state of sexual arousal and ready for an encounter.
That is the conclusion of many anthropologists. Take it or leave it, but to go into gales of denial of that observation by again NON INTERESTED in the morality aspect of it scientists is kind of ridiculous.
YOUR question of wether it would be the same thing to cover up some disfiguring skin condition I made VERY clear was NOT what we were talking about.
Personally if a woman wants to tattoo a star in the middle of her forehead, what is that to me? A question was asked at the start of the thread, information that was pertinent to the answer was given, and in true pentecostal fashion, the mere proferring of unpleasant facts sends some readers into orbits of nuttiness and denial. And brings out an emotional response rather than a cerebral response that reflects THOUGHT.

I have chronic year round severe allergies. If they did help, it wouldn't do much good, because it is a continual problem, not just correcting residual problems. It's one of those things, I've learned to live with it.

No it wasnt . You asked a question about concealing the circles under your eyes, I responded, saying that covering your skin discoloration up was NOT the issue being discussed, then it kind of degenerated into mockery about a position I hadn't taken, conversations that weren't happening ( changing the "natural" appearance) Then another poster took the widely recognized AND later CORROBORATED information that dark circles under the eyes CAN INDEED be caused by Iron deficiency (something that your Mayo Clinic man did NOTHING to refute) and made it look like foolishness, when indeed it was NOT, and now its almost "I know you are but what am I"
YOU DONT THINK this is getting a little Emotional?
Evidently my response to you that covering up the circles under your eyes was not the issue that I was discussing moved you into the position of putting words into my mouth that were never said or written by me.
Do you see how I WOULD find that moving the discussion from the arena of FACT into the arena of emotionalism?
Again the WHOLE post of mine referenced material by secular authors of widely acclaimed anthropological material and because it evidently conflicted with the emotions of several on this board. OH WELL denying a widely recognized fact does not make it cease to exist even if it is an unpleasant one.

And so when you asked me if when you cover up your big black circles under your eyes is it a sexual thing?
What was it about my response..."No. OF COURSE NOT." that offended you or has stirred up all of this?

I'm not sure if you are aware of this, since you are claiming a non-emotional response, but using ALL CAPS, especially repeatedly when you are typing, definitely sends the message that you are being emotional. All caps traditionally are used to indicate shouting. Anyhow, carry on.
