WAAAAAY too many people I know that have left mainline Apostolic churches for "greener pastures" end with the next generation being really good members of bapstist churches or the like.
and I could give you a list of names an arm long. I suspect a lot of those parents are perfectly fine with it. some arent I know that for a fact. but none the less, there is enough of this for me to know it is very real.

And the converse is true, as well.
I also know a bunch of young people who were raised in hardline churches of all denominations who don't even attend church at all.
So, once again, the broad brush does not work here, on either side of the fence.
