Even at that, we have a Democratic controlled Senate, so they will not vote for a pro-life candidate without a MAJOR fight!

PM, what I have been saying about the failures in the last
35 years is simple. If the moral
majority really believed that abortion was murder and acted on it and demanded action, then every Senator would be pro-life, every elected judge would be pro-life, every State Legislator would be pro-life...and they would be pro-life not just in the rhetorical sense, but in the governing sense. There was a window of opportunity when abortion was not common place and institutionalized, and it was during that window that the conservatives allowed themselves to be lullabied into a rhetorical stance on a very real and important issue.
I will not allow the rhetoric to work on me. It is unfair to the souls of those millions who have been murdered.
