No..what did you originally mean by "sign"? I thought you were talking about it being evidence of the Holy Spirit baptism...if that is the case it would be as much evidence to the one speaking as it is to others standing by

You just get caught up in the excitement, the expectation, the adrenaline, following the impulse to blurt out whatever pops into your head.

Why would someone do that though and not know they are faking tongues unless someone told them they were supposed to do that?

How else would you explain the tongues that occurs in Hindu and other religious practices? Oh. Yeah. Demons. Forgot about them. Of course, if you were led to speak gibberish by a demon, you'd know it, eh?

What "tongues"? you want me to explain something that as far as I know does not happen and or is not tongues? What do you mean? If you were ernestly seeking the Lord and praying in Jesus name, you think you'd receive a demon?

How often is it faked? My estimate is somewhere around 100%, but that's just me.
