Yesterday afternoon my wife took our two daughters early in the afternoon to thier Dentist Appointments.
It is hard getting to thier Dentist at the best of times but there is construction going on & it is a nightmare for traffic so my wife took them on the bus.
When she got home about dinner time she asked me, "Do I look old?"
I thought, "Oh no, are we feeling a little insecure."
"No" I said. She doesn't, she has about three gray hairs in her head.
"
"Why do you ask?" I said. Bad move!
She said someone came and said to her,
"What beautiful Grandchildren you have!!"
I don't know when I started laughing or when I stopped, but suddenly the air temperature plunged about 10 degrees!
There was a distinct chill in the air!
Apparently, women take these comments more seriously than we men!
Was I wrong to laugh?
It was an absurd comment & whoever said it needs to visit thier local optician!
It is a no brainer, she looks young, look at the avatar!
BTW Does anyone have a spare bedroom I could use for a while?
