I think mark that you have beat this subject enough times. Personally I don't care what he wears as long as he looks and acts like a man. If he wants to wear and feels comfortable in a skirt/kilt why should I care? Does it mean it is sin just because some one says it is?

Lots of the men in Africa wear robes, which are long skirts. It doesn't offend me because it's their culture. I wouldn't want to see them in short skirts. Yuck!

Re: Man's Skirt in NY 5th Ave. Window

Saw a big big man wearing a kilt at Home Depot, Terrell, Texas. An associate there told me the man came in there often.

Kilt was made of strips of black leather, hanging down with points like swords. Had a heavy broad matching belt, with a large square brass buckle. His feet shod with heavy black leather moccasin type boots with high rawhide-laced up leggings.

Strangely enough, He looked perfectly normal milling around gathering up building supplies. Nobody dared to laugh or stare at him. He didn't in any way look feminine. Apparently he was wearing some sort of Celtic garb, which was extremely manly looking. He reminded me of a Roman soldier in uniform.

Wish I had clicked him with my cell phone camera, so I could post it here.

You all are posting stories like this as if they are the cultural norm
in the western world.

If this becomes a fashion statement in the US, it wont be an african robe of some ancient war garment.

You people already know the direction America is heading you
just don't want to admit it

Mark, Please come right out and tell us what it is that we don't want to admit?

I think you are implying that America is heading in the homosexual direction. I would readily admit that there seems to be a lot of them, but I seriously doubt that wearing a skirt was the tipping point that sent them falling headlong into the "gay" lifestyle. In fact, to my knowledge, I've never seen a "gay" guy wearing a skirt. I'm sure some wear one in the closet.

The boys I went to school with wouldn't be caught wearing earrings and necklaces, but that is a common thing now.

I think mark really has a desire to wear a kilt otherwise why does he harp on the subject so much? =)

Just please keep Saint Mark from listening to any Elton John music so he don't imitate his playing.
