Over time, the conservative segment became less tolerant of questioning of things they hold dear. After hearing the same arguments over and over and over again, they retreated back to just surrounding themselves with folks of like faith (standards).
I have found it nearly impossible to get an Ultra-Con to communicate as if we are all on equal spiritual footing. (Sis. Alvear and a few others are the exception) They simply feel that they are spiritually superior.
Jimmy Yohe himself couldn't have prevented the natural separation of the differing segments of the Apostolic faith. It appears that the dream has almost died!
