I have a feeling that before this is all over there will be a lot of racism exposed in the heart of people.

Racism is just hatred. Hatred is a work of the flesh.

Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Gal 5:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
Gal 5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

We are going to see a lot of this, as long as we don't see it in the Church.

I think the lifestyles of different peoples and their way of thinking tends to push us into a "racisim" mentality, if we are not careful.

Just like there were some "monkey head Obama cookies" being sold in Conneticut. Racism is very alive in this country, in my opinion because we dont/wont deal with the underlying issues to heal from it....on all sides.
I forgot about the cookies! That was so ignorant!!!

I wasn't exposed to the monkey/black thing growing up - so didn't "get it".
I didnt even see the cartoon. Just reading the headline and I instantly "got it".

May I ask where you grew up?

That one actually made me more upset in a sad way than angry. Especially when I read the article and then the comments people posted.

I had a good family - not saying it wasn't around - I just didn't hear it.
