I don't read such trash.
I googled it, you're correct. The full name of the magazine is Cosmopolitan.

Re: Cosmetics???

Every time I read the word "Cosmo" I kept thinking "Carl Sagan".

Re: Cosmetics???

I do find some of this stuff interesting but we do need a balance...many of our practices come from Egypt...but that does not always mean they are wrong...

Many things the first Christians did we do not do...

They did not observe birthdays, fight in wars and held no political offices...

In our quest for being true we must remember customs and cultures change...

Also, he has met with Gloria Steinem and Jane Fonda's ex personally. (Although "met" and "met with" are two different things....)

What a diverse guy. I'm going to keep collected tidbits until we have a clearer pictures.

Somehow, in spite of having entered the medical profession and studying human psychology, he manages to be ultra conservative, politically, and is self-sufficient, even to the point of his family making their own food.

I think, coadie, that I will start an unauthorized biography on you!
But wait before you start on that biography... there's more.

If your goals is to be crude and insultative, It doesn't bother me. Not the least.
Appararently, Coadie is quite an accomplished brother.

Political parties? Yes they were a one party system and Romans were not a democracy.
The 70 years surrounding Jesus were years without war. I have given 2 examples that are circumstancial. Today younger folks can google scholar anything. That allows them freedom to drop practices that are abominations and passed on as mere ordinary traditions.

The Trip to egypt brought the israelites into the painting etc. We can go away from that activity.

Eating under cooked hamburger, We now know you can get sick from it. There are many things we can discover to improve our ways. We didn't always know cocaine or tobacco were bad. Cocaine works fantastic for a topical anaesthetic to correct a deviated nasal septum.

I agree Sis A, but I also believe that just because something was done in Egypt doesn't mean it came from Egypt. Some of these things predate Israels time in Egypt and have been done by almost every culture before and after.

Doesn't it drive you nuts trying to mess with people you don't like?

But you struggle with googling cosmetics.

I have degrees and advanced degrees in more fields than you have total years of college.

But it is so frustrating that you can only attack what i post.

Coadie...just a word to the wise (or educated). This approach almost always ends badly.

Re: Cosmetics???

I'm afraid that Dr. coadie will find that we are pretty astute around here and all his rabbit chasing and storying telling will be met with a degree of questioning.

Since he agrees that "questioning" is a good thing, then he should not mind at all.
