Much (nearly all) of what is in current drugs IS based on "natural" sources. When it is in an FDA approved drug is it regulated as to the amount and quality of active ingredients, unlike "natural" drugs which are not. One companies 500 Mg's of Ginko may bare zero resemblance to another companies SAME "500 Mg's active ingredients".
And while it is possible for a pharmacist to miss some dire reaction between drugs, when you start taking "natural" cures, there is virtually NO chance to catch them.

That may be so, but the fact is that what is prescribed cannot always be be obtained cheaply. That is where people look for supplements, etc. The pharmacology companies have quite the racket going and have people on a budget over a barrel. I have heard it said that if aspirin were discovered today, it would be 300 percent more than it is now. The mark-ups on pharmeceuticals is unbelievable. I know that they have to study them etc. and some cost is about that. And the companies don't study the things that can't be patented because they can't make money on it. I have had quite a bit of success with home remedies/natural supplements. The thing about supplements is to be honest with your doctor about what you are taking. My husband has high cholesterol. A doctor wanted to put him on statin drugs. I put him on niacin. When he started flushing, I was able to tell him what was happening because I did the research. I told him it was a harmless niacin flush. We switched brands and he got a big uncomfortable flush and stopped taking it but had also switched doctors. His doctor checked his cholesterol and then told him to take niacin!. His doctor is having him take a much higher does than I would ever dream of giving him. The point is, that there is something to be said for natural remedies that don't prop up the pharmeceutical companies.

I am still waiting to hear what the "natural" cure is for cancer, polio, small pox (if it was still around -which it is not, thanks to immunizations) and especially rabies.
If someone was bitten by a rabid dog or bat what root or herb would they take to cure themselves of it?

A genleman back home who is a friend of my dads, was diagnosed with cancer.
He went in to the hospital for surgery and when they opened him up, they realized they could do nothing for him.
He was sent home to die. Stage 4 cancer (I dont know what kind) and all over his body.
He started doing some research and decided to drink grape juice. he drank huge amounts of the stuff every day, pretty much having a glass of it in his hands all day long.
This gentlman is alive and cancer free today.

Don't like Trudeau and never have! He does speak alot of truth but at the same time I question a lot of what he says due to my own research.

If I get cancer, I am going to the Dr. Im gonna take what ever treatment they have, if they want to cut me open and pull stuff out, I will jump on the table.
if they send me home to die, Im gonna pray and drink grape juice.
I believe in modern medicine and I also belive in what works.
