If you do not mind I would choose to believe in and pray to the God that Jesus instructed us to pray to, by example prayed to himself, was the same God that Adam, Noah, Lot, Abraham prayed to, and is the same God today.
Had the Council in 325 AD not removed material from the Bible at that time, at the request of the polythiests, and with penalty of death for possession of the removed material, your beliefs might have followed a different path. You currently believe what a bunch of old men 300 years after Jesus was taken back into Heaven (1) tell you to believe and (2) rewrote the gospels to tell you to believe.
Since none of the gospels quite match in their stories there is little likelihood that they were either inspired by God or that the people who wrote them were actually there. Writings inspired by God Himself do not have discrepencies. The New Testament is full of them. Re-writings and modified writings DO have discrepencies.
