Further you tacitly justified it being ok to listen to that kind of stuff by asserting that you would not change into a gangster and my point was that just because it did not change you into a gangster, a radical change, does not mean it does not have some affect on you spiritually that you are not seeing and that is long term, not over night.
For example someone that listens to that kind of music regularly, might not change into a gangster over night, or ever, but they might find their walk with God is not as strong as it once was

I was not calling someone that stands up for something wishy washy. Music can influence anyone at anytime. What I am saying is that for me I like listening to the music. It is up to EVERYONE to make their limits on what they feel they can do. If you Sir. Prax don't feel you can listen to it then don't. You argument that music affects people is right, but your argument is assuming that one is 'super spiritual' or a certain level already. For me I go to church often, but I am not a typical UPCer...far, far from it.
