By your post, above, you appear to be dismissing the part the father played in the outcome of his son's life.

I did NOT dismiss the father's part, I said
he WOULD be responsible for HIS PART. I've said that over and over and over.
You're responsible for placing a stumbling block.
You're responsible for causing temptation.
You are NOT responsible for someone else's sin.
