ok, here's the route,
we'll be taking
I-75 to Dayton, then I-71 to Louisville
we'll jump on 2-264 for 10 miles, where we'll catch I-65 toward Nashville
from there we'll make our way to Huntsville.
from there it'll be AL-287 to Fairhope.
I THINK.
from the best I can see, we'll go thru Louisville, Nashville, Birmingham, and Montgomery.
We'll be looking for reasonably priced hotels along the way so if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.
I'd love to meet anyone that I can fit into our schedule, even if it's only for a quick cup of coffee.
OA is not to far from Huntsville. You would enjoy getting to meet him.

No, near Austin. There's another one? How 'bout that!
They seem to like to name towns that in Texas.....lol Well actually it's not a town, just a spot on the map. I think they are called communitie's.
There's another going the other way about 40 miles away from here.

My brother lived right on Mobile Bay until Katrina. His condo was fine, but he was trapped in Memphis for 2 weeks after that and by the time he got home he'd been completely looted. Boat, truck, furniture, everything.
He quit the bachelor ways and settled down nearer to Canaan Land after that.
When I lived in Mobile, I visited Fairhope a couple of times. Very financially prosperous area back in 2002 - 2004.
Dauphin Island was pretty then too, even though they the island was still recovering from a previous hurricane.
I am SURE Dauphin Island is not what it used to be.
While you are there, you should visit More Life UPC in Grand Bay, AL.
I knew the Pastor and the Bishop there. They are still there.
I used to go there.
I miss that church some times, but do not miss the deep south-- too humid!
I do miss Holy Ghost filled GRITS and wish they would come to Orlando!
Anyway,
Despite the fact that I was their only Black member while I attended, I had an overall great experience while attending that UPCI church.
Awesome Preaching!
Great Southern singing!
VERY, VERY FRIENDLY congregation of "down home folk" who don't put on airs when they come to church!
More Life UPCI!!!
sits right off I-10 in Grand Bay, AL-- about 10 minutes west of Mobile.
You really should visit with them.
I am excited for you just typing this!
