Bro. , my wife would totally agree with you on not spending to much time on hair , the ladies in my house go for the Sis. Mickey Mangun look, long hair in a bun takes about 2 minutes.

I like the sense of humor.....A lot of people think that Holiness people are backward hicks . But you seem to have a good spirit about us . I actually speak 2 languages and read 3 . I say this in love but if my girls,( currently 11 and 4) wore an of the shoulder wedding dress, I would go into cardiac arrest.

My daughter is 12. When she is old enough to get married, she will be old enough to choose what she would like to wear on her wedding day, that is her choice. If she wants my advice, I will give it to her, but my primary concern is not that she makes me happy.

I want children who are sold out for Christ. I do not want them to fear a pastor or me, I want them to be primarily concerned with following God's Will for their life.

I want God to have her heart, frankly I could care less about the dress....

Other than English, the only other language I speak and read is the binary language of moisture vaporatores.

I feel like if I can't impart a Holiness Heritage to my children in love, then I would have failed as a father.

Is Elder Garrett in Mesa? Are there any ACI churches in Mesa ? Those would be some good places for you folks to try out.

I feel like if all I give my kids is a dress code, then I have failed. My kids come to me almost daily, "so and so said this about the Bible but I said this, what do you think."

No children other than a few of the four legged varieties (and one with feathers, and many with fins).

I actually do not have any idea who this is, although there are enough here who live in the Phoenix valley that someone outta know. I spent most of my teen years in a UPC church and other then weddings, funerals, and other "special" occasions, will not go back to one.

Well, I would say that convenience is the main reason I don't wear jewelry and makeup, but maybe the reason my outward appearance isn't of utmost importance is that I consider my actions and heart to be more important, which is directly related to fellowship with my Lord and Savior.
