it may have been a joke by the poster but, sadly, there are people who actually believe and preach that.
My Grandma would have taken a yard stick to me if it was no parted right! And that is a fact! And some of you know it too. But it is a blessing for younger Holiness men like me it keeps the worldly women away be cause we do not wear rings.

I don't know.... doesn't John Edwards part his hair on the side? Didn't keep the women away from him apparently.
Yis I am not upc and I do not wear a ring so try another one...alot of people do not wear rings because of the job they perform or certain equipment they work around.
Just keep rolling the clock back a few decades. That should work. It does seem, though, that they've been stuck in the fifties for a long time. Come on, Yis, what do you say? Isn't it about time to move on to the sixties?
No Beaver Cleaver, Victorian Era, all times of abundance, civility and "ideal American" eras. 60's was hardly that: war, rebellion, drugs, sexual revolution. Nope. Beatles won't qualify. I think the 50's will be around for a long time.

You have a point, there. I do get tired of those worldly women pouncing on me all the time (until they notice my ring, of couse -- I mean nobody's that worldly, to ignore a ring!)

I see, good point. How about the eighties, then?

I can make a strong argument as to why a wedding band finds more harmony with scripture and holiness than one without. But I won't
Yisrael, I have friends that are very similar to you. I respect that. Hope you understand that as well. I don't agree with your positions in many areas, or your worldview about holiness, but you are my brother and I love you. Hats off to you for consistency.
