I wonder how many people were not there to vote. It has been my experience that people sometimes take things like this for granted and assume that the GS is going to be voted in so they don't even make the business meeting. The danger there, of course, is that someone who really wanted to make a change could really motivate their people to show up and vote and have a disproportional influence on the entire org. Personally, I like Rev. Haney...but then again I like the Revs. Bernard, Mooney, Jones, and Huntley...so I guess it's all good

they were probably upset they were redoing the nominating..... but speculative here.
It doesn't appear that going ahead with a 2nd nominating ballot accomplished anything. It appears DB will be elected just like he would have been on the first nominating ballot.

I agree. If there were upset voters, who were they, and why did they react that way to a normal process of an election? What led them to be so vested in a Mooney election?
I know, if this how they do things - makes me wonder.
