So Timmy, are you saying that God could not judge a person who has never heard the gospel?

And I'm not sure it would matter if someone hears the gospel or not. The vast majority (I think) have never heard it. But, of those who have heard it, some will believe it and obey it, and some will not believe it. Why not? One reason might be that it doesn't make sense to them. Is that somehow their fault? Does God hold us accountable for our mental acumen, in understanding it sufficiently to "believe" it?

So, anyone care to refute the point Timmy just made?

I know, Mike. I saw the smiley-face.
Hey!!! Remember when you said I was "passive-aggressive"? It was our first conversation. Well, someone else called me that!!! And it was an Admin this time. It might be time for me to talk to my therapist and ask for more meds!!
Some things require faith. Timmy and I discussed this FAITH sort of thang before.
We have to TRUST that God is righteous and fair, and sometimes leave it up to the thought that our minds cannot grasp all that His mind deals with and how He handles things. I mean, God is huge!
Is it not logical to realize that if God is God, and our minds are significantly smaller than His, to say the least, then there is a FAIR reasoning in His mind that we simply cannot comprehend sometimes.

I'll admit (and then duck) that I have a hard time seeing God judge those who have no knowledge of Him. I've even had those moments of thinking, "How could God judge me? I didn't ask to be born and I didn't ask for this mess and this sinful nature." (Now I should REALLY duck)
I wouldn't argue with you on this and I would admit that I don't have the answer, but I do trust God to be fair and to be just.
I've wondered the same thing. Perhaps we do not have as much choice in things as we would like to think. To some extent we are who we were born to be, genetics plays a huge part in our particular bent towards sin.

I totally know where you are coming from It is impossible that God could hold us against believing something for blind faith. In fact I think he might even hold blind faith against those who believe in the gospel. Because, blind faith just means they guessed right, nothing very meaningful in that decision.
