In all the years I've been in the Apostolic Church, I've never been to a Funeral where Hell was even mentioned.

Because the funeral is for those left behind, not for the deceased. Would it really help a grieving family member to hear someone say, "this scumbag is going to hell?" That would be cruel, and unnecessary.
Most people know what kind life the dead person lived, but if it helps them get through a horrible time to gloss it over, what does it harm? Most of the funerals that I have been to where the person lived, at the least, a questionable life, the preacher will usually just say something like "they are in God's hands now" and focus on whatever good the person has done in their life.
I have no problem with that, because the reality is, they
ARE in God's hands, it is up to
Him to pass judgement, and I am very, very happy that it is
His job, and not mine.
