Let me add that I do not believe the Bible to be written by God, and therefore I tend to view many of it's commands as outdated cultural and historical mores.
I should also add as a disclaimer of sorts that I am of the personal opinion that sex outside of a monogamous committed relationship (not necessarily "marriage") is hollow and meaningless.

Mich are you now the AFF agnostic mascot? Don't believe the Bible is written by God, or inspired by God? Doesn't that make your opinion kind of meaningless? since this is a discussion amongst people who believe in the Word of God, and that it is actually God's word. Can other agnostics join this forum?
