"I just don't think it's so offensive as to require deletion (or an apology)"
Who were you talking to, the wind? If you're gonna try to weasel out of this by defaulting to the denying of the direct quote, then you're worse off than I thought. I'm still highly in favor of my original suggestion, though, which was, "Mind your own business."
NOW, are you brain dead? I didn't say that YOU required deletion. I said, and I quote, "I just don't think it's so offensive as to require deletion." I don't care whether Standards offered to delete it himself--it was still a result of your initial bullying post.
Are you going to try to weasel out of the fact that you wanted "some action taken?" The only action taken on forums in these cases is usually: apology, an edit, post deletion and/or banning. While you didn't request any of those from Standards directly, you did say:

What action were you hoping for, exactly?

I have always thought the line between profound and insane is very thin.
in this case SP certainly said something that some will find profound... and others... defending their territory...will justify as simply insane.
It's profound no matter what way you look at it. The moral of the statement is this; don't steal the glory of God!!!!! Why is that debatable?

Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;
Would you agree with me that there is an unforgivable sin?
It's not so much an "unforgiveable sin" (as in an isolated action) as much as a sin that is the outcome of one that is completely devoid of faith, and has become reprobate.

Because it came from a conservative minister, most likely.

"Become reprobate?" Or "made reprobate?"
Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
