This would also include the "look at me I am dressed properly" parade!!

Where does the Bible say that, anyway? All I see, on the topic, is this:

Matthew 12:31
Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. 32And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

Mark 3:29
But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.

Mark 3:29
But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.

Quote from Bro. Steve Pixler:
“Image and glory are always interconnected, and when humans start stealing glory, they’ll start perverting image.”

If image and glory are always interconnected and we assume that humans have image, then who's glory are they stealing?

I think both those that praised it and bashed it jumped to conclusions. There were a few that said it didn't make sense, or that they needed more information.

What conclusion did you jump to with it?

It's not so much debatable as not easy to understand. How does one "steal" God's glory? And what is his "glory?" Are we using glory in terms of adoration and praise? There's so much to know about what was meant.

I did not say it was debatable did I?

From the few sermons I have heard from brother Pixler, and the one person who attends and ministers in his church that I know, all I know of him is that he is a balanced, lights out preacher.

The statement as presented leaves out context. I would love to find that context.

I think there is a great study that could be done related.

Perhaps. It sounds like a set-up for them to plug some doctrine they like into it. Although many felt it just needed clarification. Doesn't make sense. What is meant by it. SP isn't here to explain. So we can ask Standards, who has his own idea of what it meant to him.

So many glory seekers out there but I think its time we start giving back the glory to Him who alone is worthy of it. To Him who sits upon the throne and to Him be all the glory the power and dominion in the church, both now and forever more!

AQP was correct; we actually need to hear the statement in context. Otherwise, we can take it in about 50 different directions.

oh, ok is that why he told all the sinners he forgave to "go and sin no more"?

however, I like the way you said it too!
