First let me say that I fully agree that the stand alone accreditation of UGST is monumental and something that should be applauded.
As to the "brokering" of accreditation to AST....I think that may be true with regard to Patten.....however with Hope, AST had to fully align with the same academic guidelines as Hope with regard to professors credentials, course work, etc. Otherwise AST could endanger Hope's accreditation....which I doubt they would be willing to chance.
