Yes, I would like to know the reasons why he would take the route he did. It certainly is quicker, easier, and cheaper. I have no idea what his motives where. I think in conjunction with the last three it also didn't require a reevaluation of what he has taught for 30 + years. Now which one was the motive I don't know. But it is fair and not at all ungracious to point out that the "theologian" of the Oneness movement really didn't take the time to earn the education one would expect from someone in his position. He has the brains, he has the finances, so...why?
