Quite a number of people working through adultery issues! Sometimes I think the unspoken things people are working through make them feel very alone when it is not as uncommon as it seems. I think in the church people are so afraid to speak of what they are battling.
Of course some on AFF think "Adultery" would be defined as lust with one other than your spouse. As I stated in the other thread, I believe all men have then committed adultery. By the same token I believe most, if not all, are murderers - having hated someone before...
Jesus was demonstrating his unique ability to see the intents within heart of man and not establishing a standard that men could judge each other by.

So far nearly 20% (19.57%) have reported that they are working through adultery issues. That's sobering. I think we should take a moment and pray for one another and our marriages, especially those among us who are navigating those troubled waters. Praise God they're trying to work through it.

Father, I pray that you would be with those working through these adultery issues. I pray that you'd grant them grace to overcome and open their hearts to forgive one another. Strengthen the bonds that remain and restore the love and trust that's been hurt. Father, all this I ask in Jesus name. Amen.
I'm not sure what the "regular marriage issues" are; I suppose they might include money and in-law problems. More divorces are caused by disagreements over money than by adultery.
