One need look no further than the legacy of supporting certain philosophical and pedagogical approaches to US public education from the early 1900s that has resulted in a vast reduction of the quality and scope of educational institutions to recognize how the Rockefeller interest in psychological warfare is but a chapter of a much larger saga.

He would of pointed at you as a "mild prepper" and said you were sanely balanced, and if anything went down you would do alright, and if anything didn't go down you wouldn't be disappointed. After he died I wondered about what he thought after keeping the place stocked as he did, and kinda imagine he wasn't disappointed that he never had to survive on his stock or have to kill the neighbors when they were beating down the door.

Sounds like he had a balanced outlook. I personally don't understand people who are overconfident. Maybe they have never had any real want or lack in their lives....

Overconfidence without doing the research and walking circumspectly, isn't smart. My dad, wasn't an alarmist, and couldn't stand drama, so, he would of believed a mild prepper was someone who did their homework, and would be able to navigate through all the hoopla, yet be able to have fresh drinking water, and read a compass, if anything went down.

Ya, that's pretty much how I see it too.
