Crazy, but true.

I agree. It's called peer pressure. It's not just teenagers that deal with it.

Id love to see an org rise up that won't have the shaven "here" because of their smooth faced feminine look
The problem with the church is they got all the men sissified instead of encouraging them to be men

what is a pastoral issue? Does that mean the Pastor has issues and he forces them on everyone else?
If it's NOT a heaven or hell issue then why MAKE it an issue? Why treat someone the way you do for having or doing something the bible never addresses? Why have a doctrine or practice the bible never mentions?
How is having unbiblical doctrines or practices being like the Apostles?

Very nice photo!
On the subject of beards...If God even has an opinion about them, I think he would rather see men grow one than not. And I'm very conservative! lol

This statement by this man should tell us all we need to know about him. He thinks he's mightier than God. After a statement like this I would question anything else he had to say. The Pharisee of all Pharisees! I don't want to be ugly but your arrogance is unbelievable. Do you really think you can dictate who goes to heaven and who doesn't? Is it okay to be offensive to all who do not agree with you? Mt 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
Oh well, I guess that doesn't apply to you!

The Amish do just that. They will drop you from membership in a heartbeat if you shave it all off!
This was one of the lines of demarcations between them and my people (Old Order Mennonite). The Mennonites would actually allow a beard if it was not constantly changed to follow fads... and some did grow them.

Re: Bernards with Beards?
Facial hair can be a pride thing but so can whole of things. Such cars, house, wife, kids, clothes, clean shaven..etc....
