My perception has not been skewed no more than yours or anyone else. I do not doubt Bro. Strange's use in the gifts, but I do know those that labor among us and all is well. I am not a young preacher that is blinded by admiration. I am 54 years old and have been in this all my life. I have spent 36 years in the ministry and I am well aware of the days we are in.

This is truly sad.
We have drifted so far away that we no longer know the voice of the Holy Ghost from the voice of Sorcerer. We no longer know the difference.
Do you also subscribe to the teachings of The Temple of Wisdom as he does?

It nothing new, it's always been around. This is what happens when you turn so-called teachings of man into a so-called bible truth. Sooner or later it's all going to cave in on itself~

I can't believe you would call a man a sorcerer that T.W> Barnes felt was a prophet. Was He a sorcerer too?

The music is strange[/B], the spirit is strange, the words from the pulpit are becoming strange. There is still the FORM, but....????

If possible, can you expound on the music being strange.

I am now 67. I have know Tom Barnes all of my life until his death.
Yes, I have no doubt that the man is a Prophet. That is not the question. I've known many prophets that have fallen under strange spirits. Here is a prime example of it.
Balaam was also a prophet of the Lord. He simply gave himself to a strange spirit, speaking adverse things. However, he was unable to curse what God has blessed, both blessings and cursings came from the mouth of this prophet who sought the gold for himself. Finally, in the end, he left us the great messianic prophecy that we often quote today.

Someone hailed as a "prophet" spoke words that were strange, from a spirit that I was quite familiar with. I am so surprised and shocked that Apostolic people are sooooo gullible. I wanted to puke. Though I recognized the spirit immediately, when he began to speak concerning "an uncommon seed for an uncommon harvest" and other words in the same vein, there could be no doubt about it. Then he "prophesied" to different ones. I said to that spirit, "Ah yes ol' boy, I recognize who you are." ."[/

Sorry, I disagree. I believe the man was in order and the Spirit of God was upon him. We will just have to agree to disagree. I did not feel that strange spirit you speak of.

I do not seek to know men after the flesh. That is far too deceptive. I seek to know them after the spirit. It is hard to be fooled when you know them after the spirit.
Do you also subscribe to the teachings of the Cathedral of Wisdom as this celebrated upc prophet?
