I for one see that God healing people is a doctrine, and this revival is an example of God's healing power in action.

Amazing! The characteristics of the book of Acts church was.......

Act 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added [unto them] about three thousand souls.
Act 2:42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

But of course since doctrine means nothing anymore, carry on.

Funny, even prophecy is to be judged according to the Word of God. But God forbid we judge a "move of God" by whether sound doctrine is preached.

Brother, Im not here to argue....Im no theologian...I just love Jesus and I am grateful He is still Alive and working miracles today....

St Matt... AMEN!!! People would rather go where they will get their feel good message and get their "healing" well I for one am not going to let just anyone pray for me!!! I am indeed going to be sure that there aint no hinny bin types near me and if God can use anyone like yall say.. then well... cant God do this without them? Cant someone get healed sitting in their car, living room, and for God sake what is wrong with your own churches? Is there not these same type of miracles happening within your own churches and if not then I think you need to take a look around and figure out what the problem is!

St Matt... you are indeed correct but some let some things go and then its anything goes....people dont care anymore!

I sent God an IM and He said that's the way its always been when He starts working He sent me a few examples...

Matthew 9:11

Matthew 15:1-3

2Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.

3But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?

One thing I noticed a while back and its been bothering me off and on since then... I saw someone post something about a "healing service" they had... and this person said... "when I heal someone" or something very similar to that same effect... And this thread brought that back to mind...

Do you people really really realize it is God doing these healings and not the man???? People begin to look too much to man and not enough towards the divine healer! I do not doubt God can and does use people like this but first of all there is a lot missing.. second of all... is this another benny hinn we are dealing with? Oh wait... Forgot we have the BH cheerleading section here too ROFL! My bad... just think about it..

Matthew 4:23-24 And Jesus went about in all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of disease and all manner of sickness among the people. 24 And the report of him went forth into all Syria: and they brought unto him all that were sick, holden with divers diseases and torments, possessed with demons, and epileptic, and palsied; and he healed them.

Matthew 8:16-17 When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick. [17] This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and carried our diseases.”

Matthew 14:35-36 And when the men of that place recognized Jesus, they sent word to all the surrounding country. People brought all their sick to him [36] and begged him to let the sick just touch the edge of his cloak, and all who touched him were healed.

Jesus healed people before the book of acts-

My question would be does God respond to correct doctrine or does he respond to faith?

Amen. He is alive and working miracles today. And I am not implying that God is not doing the healings and miracles at this revival. But if the apostolic church continues to move in an anti-doctrine path, and does not judge by the Word spoken, they will be deceived into believing things are God when they are not.

So my answer is.... Wonderful! Folks have been healed and miracles have taken place. Praise God!! But has anyone been born again according to the Book?
