i dont think its a disembodied spirit, what i think is demonic spirits tend to take on the lord or the story of the area.
for instance, there is a insane asylum. If you want to get freaked out go take a tour. stuff moves on its own there and lots of noise.
They even brought a dog in and the dog was spooked. we know that the possesed was driven mad just like the man that 100 demons in him. I believe those demonic spirits still hang around such places even after there closed cause people draw attention to the supernatural.
so instead of a spirit of some one who died i believe its a demon.trying to take on the role of the story and the lore.
My wife and her sister saw her grandfather after he was killed or murdered in her grannies house after they buried him.
she would probably agree with you. ofcourse they group right next to a cemetary and played in when they was kids...
