I am sure there are some Pentecostals who go overboard when they leave the legalism but I also think that what many legalists call "worldliness" is not something a lot of people who have left legalism give a second though to.
For example those who think baring elbows is a terrible sin and immodest are constantly met with disappointment when they see the "immodest" behavior (in their mind) of some other Christians. However for 99.9% of those Christians in question the fact their elbows are showing never crosses their mind as they do not see that as immodest or a sin.
I will grant you that is an extreme example but the principle is the same. I know OP's so locked into their closed culture that they are hyper sensitive to anything that is beyond their little world. For some of them a 5 second glance at a scantily clad girl walking by in the mall grabs their attention and affects them in a greater way than someone who doesn't give them a second glance because they are engaged in the world on a daily basis.
