Re: Glorying In Sin
Interesting... I'd have to have some particular examples of what sins are being 'gloried' in.
I don't see sin the same way as some... I use crude language when it is the most descriptive or best understood by the person I am talking to... To me that is no different then asking a patient with a 4th grade education if they can poop and pee OK rather then using the more medical urinate and defecate.
My 17 year old kid was written up in the church school for saying butt as in short for buttocks. He as not being mean or nasty but simply describing the part of a boys anatomy that he fell down on... I was told by a mid 40s man (the principle) that they prefer the term 'hiney'... What the heck is a hiney I asked... or course I was then told that heck is a pentecostal cuss word...
Got me thinking... who decides?
I like wine, Jesus drank wine. That is 'sinful' by some standards... but again WHO decides.
I like you Jason, but I have not seen what you are describing on AFF although I think I might be one who would be categorized as 'glorying' in sin... when really I am just being WHO I REALLY AM. No fake stuff here... I consider being a fake... REAL sin.
