I am not against Jewelry and if I were married, I would wear a ring and preferrably w/diamond. I found I hated the feeling of a bracelet ... can't hardly wear a watch... they drive me crazy... so this sure isn't hard for me to follow the standard. Can't hardly tolerate the hair issue....but wouldn't care if I ever put on a peice of jewelry again in my life... interesting on how that stuff works... we are all different and have different walks with God.
With me, adornment goes further than just jewelry, but to anything that brings attention.. it is the pride that goes with it. I only found this by trial and error as it should be... but could never place my convictions on others.

I pretty much stopped wearing a watch after I quit working in nursing homes, as I always had to wear one then. And it was not ornamental at all.......lol
I have blah hair, even when it's clean and shiny. I am not gonna put those extension things in it though, I have seen someone getting them and it looked painful. I am not one to tell others how to live their lives, other than I don't like to see half naked people in town, Wal Mart seems to attract them the most. God knows my heart and theirs too. I am not going to change anyone but I can pray God will if they need changing. It starts inside anyway, my main desire is that my heart is clean and I have a right spirit.
