You have a righteous standing because you walk by faith to his leading which IS RIGHTEOUS.

The righteousness of God is the law upon the heart not a forensic imputation of position.

Do I still sin? Yes!, but the blood of Jesus cleanses me from my sins. Should I remain sin and claim grace, absolutely not.

The blood only cleanses if you walk as he walks which is a path of righteousness by the Spirit and do his commandments. 1 John 1:7
