Perry is who he is and hasn't changed. Clinton even agreed that Perry did the right thing on the in-state tuition because the Federal Government makes states educate K-12. What are we going to do with them after they graduate? The Federal Government needs to step up or get out of the state's way on dealing with their borders.
And on the "having no heart" comment Perry made. I attended a Mexican wedding of about 300 people. My husband and I were the only white people present. Really decent crowd, lots of illegals, beautiful bride and groom. I was sitting in the church thinking, "I understand what he means when he says we don't have a heart." If the Federal Government doesn't do something about the border, we have to do something with these people. Some of the children have no identity with Mexico. You just can't send them back. You can't possibly understand what Perry meant unless you live in the middle of it or deal with it on a day by day basis.
And like he said, "No one has a problem with immigration. It's the illegal immigration we have a problem with."

I also agree with how Perry on immigration. Also, you only state that Rick Perry is a decent candidate because he hasn't changed and because he has no dirt.
Personally, I believe that when it comes to overall policy Newt Gingrich is superior to all the Republican candidates. When it comes down to policy, you can't get much better than Gingrich.
