I'll tell you what bothers those kind of Christians: it's that laws adding such protections no longer allows such Christians to pretend America is a Christian nation. You see as long as there's no mention of legal protections for gays in the laws then that somehow makes America seem more Christian and they like that... at least that's my opinion.

Let me answer it for you - approval.
The agenda is - tolerate us, then accept us, then approve us, then join us.
And there is always an implied "or else", behind each one of these.
