Bro, Paul was not referring to tithe in
1 Cor 9. He was referring to the levites being allowed to keep the remains of the sin offering and burnt offering for themselves.
1 Cor 9
13
Don’t you know that those who serve in the temple get their food from the temple, and
that those who serve at the altar share in what is offered on the altar?
14 In the same way, the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel.
Only the Levites were allowed to partake of the burnt offerings and sin offerings (
Leviticus 7). In the same way, ministers of the gospel make their living from the support of the church.
But this has nothing to do with tithe.
In the case of tithe, BOTH the general people and levites partook of the tithe of crops and produce (
Deut 14).
Note: Tithe was not allowed to be currency. It MUST be crops and produce (
Deut 14)
