Hello Aquila, I understood the first mention of a tithe (tenth) to be from
Genesis 14. The next mention would be from
Genesis 28.

You're thinking of the
Levitical tithe, aren't you? There is more than one tithe mentioned in Scripture.

I know I don't personally teach that. I simply teach the passages pertaining to tithing, just like I teach passages pertaining to any other doctrine. Jesus is the Righteous Judge... he'll sort 'em all out in the end.
