When I first met her, I didn't think I was going to like her at all, but my husband and I made an instant connection with her son, who was 2 years old at the time. That was two years ago. So, we have grown closer. It is amazing to see God working in her life. In the beginning, I thought her mother would win and keep her away from God, but I see God is the one that is winning. Pretty awesome!
My son told me she was telling him that when she goes over to her mother's house and then comes to my house, she just wants to go home and clean. lol She used to be a terrible housekeeper, but is turning out to do very well.
And changing the subject, again, have you seen these workbooks by Kumon? They would be great for your grandchildren. I just ordered six more this morning, because they are only around $5 each at Amazon. I don't think there are any finer educational workbooks than these. It makes learning fun.
