I could agree about a Pastor confronting sin. Sin should be confronted, especially if the person flaunts their sin. We already agreed the language could have been changed. But I fail to see any sin committed by anyone this man lashed out at. You agreed sleeping isn't a sin; I would argue that having people visit the sound booth isn't a sin; neither is missing church for whatever reason.
So if this was about confronting sin, what was the sin?
You brought a good point, that years ago this wouldn't have been an issue. I would agree that the advent of the internet and social media has caused the office of the Pastor to be scrutinized more than at any time previous. What was typically passed on even 10 years ago, is now more closely looked at.
I understand your point, I just don't believe it applies in this case.
