Re: Come Out Of Her My People
This is kind of along the subject of this thread.
When I lived in NC, there was a time where I felt led by the Holy Spirit to lay hands on the pews of my church-- the back left side of the church I attended because I sensed a heaviness in our gatherings, a heaviness that was affecting our services and (at least to my 21 year old mind) the delivery of the sermons.
I prayed for God's Presence to saturate "this house" again and to move on the people sitting in this area of the church.
The next service went awesome-- praises and worship to God flowed freely, the preacher delivered the Word of God without stumbling, people who had grown stoic and usually sat in that area of the church were participating in the services again.
I had a point in typing all this, but now I don't remember why.
Has anyone else ever had an experience like this before-- where they felt led by God to pray for specifically for God's Presence to saturate a building, or even a certain part of the building where you knew there would people who would need to be touched by the Lord?
