The scripture that is taken out of context is found in John 8. Jesus starts out talking about the His relationship to the Father. What Jesus is saying is a person who doesn't believe God sent Jesus to save the world from sin is as lost as two boys kissing.
The I AM mentioned in Exodus 3:14 does not have the same meaning as the I am he statement in John.
