LOL - Why am I not surprised ?

Also, you're meshing contexts (ever heard of that?) of general prayer & prophecy in Chp. 11 (which, for the 10th time now is not a sermon from the Scriptures - either biblically, textually, lexically, or exegetically) & the subject-matter of the gifts of the Spirit introduced in Chpp. 12-14.

It is precisely this type of interpretation-methodology which expressly leads to false doctrines such as "women-preachers" (& it IS a false doctrine in the church). Thus, I Cor. 11 means what it says in its context & I Cor. 14 means what it says in its context - Here, let's try this A-G-A-I-N:

New International Version
Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says.

New Living Translation
Women should be silent during the church meetings. It is not proper for them to speak. They should be submissive, just as the law says.

English Standard Version
the women should keep silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be in submission, as the Law also says.

New American Standard Bible
The women are to keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak, but are to subject themselves, just as the Law also says.

King James Bible
Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

Holman Christian Standard Bible
the women should be silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak, but should be submissive, as the law also says.

International Standard Version
the women must keep silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak out, but must place themselves in submission, as the oral law also says.

NET Bible
the women should be silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak. Rather, let them be in submission, as in fact the law says.

Aramaic Bible in Plain English
Let your women be silent in the assemblies, for they are not allowed to speak, but to be in subjection, just as The Written Law also says.

GOD'S WORD® Translation
the women must keep silent. They don't have the right to speak. They must take their place as Moses' Teachings say.

Jubilee Bible 2000
Let your women keep silence in the congregations {Gr. ekklesia called out ones}, for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be in subjection, as also saith the law.

King James 2000 Bible
Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be submissive, as also says the law.

American King James Version
Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted to them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also said the law.

American Standard Version
let the women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but let them be in subjection, as also saith the law.

Douay-Rheims Bible
Let women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted them to speak, but to be subject, as also the law saith.

Darby Bible Translation
Let your women be silent in the assemblies, for it is not permitted to them to speak; but to be in subjection, as the law also says.

English Revised Version
Let the women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but let them be in subjection, as also saith the law.

Webster's Bible Translation
Let your women keep silence in the churches; for it is not permitted to them to speak: but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

Yea', really looks like God calls women to "preach" to the churches .

I agree with you that prophesy is something that is not expounding ON scripture. Prophesy is a WORD from God, given to men, through either men, or women.

Ummm, okay, and? What do you think this proves? I have stated over & again that witnessing, outreach, home Bible studies, & biblical prophecy is a form of "preaching," but not in the sense of a didactic sermon from the Scriptures to a church congregation.

11 Let a woman learn in silence with all submission. 12 And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression....3.14 I hope to come to you soon, but I am writing these things to you so that, 15 if I delay, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, a pillar and buttress of the truth.

What portion of this do y'all not comprehend ?

However, the very act of prophesying, is disobeying your interpretation of Paul's admonition for a woman to keep silent.

Ahhh, now I see clearly since you've thoroughly "exegeted" & "explained" the passages above ! As usual, you're merely offering more smoke in mirrors & not at all clarifying the issue.

Instead of offering a "integrated-hermeneutic" you're offering a "segregated-hermeneutic" (do you even know what that means?). That is, you merely say, "Well, if it means silent (when the Bible explicitly says it does??), then how can women prophesy??" This only serves to cloud & not clarify - all because you have a preference & anti-biblical tradition. Very poor "scholastics."

Therefore, this you cannot explain, no matter how you mock me, and change my screen name, and use emoticons.

LOL - I have offered in-depth syntax, exegesis, lexical quotes, & most importantly, BIBLE - Y'all are merely offering your copy-paste commentaries that agree with you, but disagree with the Bible .

BTW, though I do not have time to expound in-depth right now (just fitting this in when I am able), Paul was laying down a life-style principle in the following principle (ever heard of the micro-context & macro-context hermeneutic?):

"Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us."

The Greek verb translated "walketh" (περιπατοῦντος) defines as "how one lives their life" (http://biblehub.com/greek/4043.htm) & is not isolated to just the work-life (or lack there-of). No, I will not fellowship "women-preachers" & the Bible "commands" me not to - Sorry, try again !

Check in later tonight if able - if not, maybe tomorrow !
