Men such as Timothy...

Tit 2:15..  ..These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

It is the Bible that forbids a woman to usurp authority...

1Tim 2:12..  ..But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

A woman could not both obey Titus 2:15 (obviously injunctions to the ministry was not written to women) and 1 Tim 2:12.

Ok, think about this. You are speaking about letters Paul was writing at the time. They were NOT part of any Bible. He was speaking personally about the authority he had over the churches as a whole. It has nothing to do with his preacher status. In fact, Paul rarely spoke in churches at all. He was always on the run. But don't copy his letters that were NOT Bible and claim as though they were. Paul never said nor insinuated that his authority was equal to God's Word.
