The difference is we have injunction regarding both men and women witnessing, operating in the gifts of the spirit. We also have no qualifications given for female ministers who were to be over the flock of God. We have INJUNCTIONS against them doing so. It really is quite simple, but you evidently would rather embrace tradition at the expense of embracing the Word of God.

You want to know why...Jesus did not call one, nor gave any qualifications for one. If what Sis Alvear said above is true, that Paul's acknowledgments (over half) was to women MINISTERS, surely we would have one Biblical example of one obeying Matt 28:19 and baptizing a convert.

Now, Now, Elder, did you not read those passages from 2 Jude - Or maybe it was 3 Timothy - Or, perhaps from the Book of "I-Say-It" !?

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11

Think of it this way.

You are speeding, and I'm a cop. I radar you doing 35 in a school zone. I pull you over and give you a ticket.

Did I have authority over you in that situtation? My authority comes from the law. Without that law, I have no authority. My uniform means nothing without the authority of the law to back me up.

Let's say you are walking in the park and meet for an 'exchange' of drugs and money. I have on a rock and roll tshirt and jeans and haven't shaved in a while. Yet, after you give me the drugs, I take you down and arrest you.

Did I have authority? I mean, I didn't even have on a uniform to identify myself as someone who had that kind of authority, yet I used it. Well, on my own, I have no authority over any, except the law gives me that authority.

It's the same for anyone speaking the Word of God. His Word is ALL authority. We have no authority on our own without that Word.

We can both speak the Word of God with all authority. You can be the husband of one wife all you want. You can don your suit and your shiny shoes and say 'uh' to emphasize every word you want, but the authority you have is no different than they authority I have. The Word backs us both.

Now, before you again go in circles about bishops and pastors, I said no such thing above. I'm merely talking about preaching and witnessing.

Just be honest. If you can't answer the question, just say so. Going around in circles about the candy stick you want to discuss won't garner any further response from me.

On the same hand, if Jesus wanted anyone but a Jew to follow Him, He would have called at least one. Did you really want to go there? Jesus Himself baptized no one. Is there a point to be made with that statement? I don't believe so.

To whom was Matt 28:19 written?

Paul never said nor insinuated that his authority was equal to God's Word.
1Ti 5:17..  ..Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. (Not one Biblical qualification for a female Eldress)

1Th 5:12..  ..And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; 1Th 5:13..  ..And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves.

Heb 13:7..  ..Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

Heb 13:17..  ..Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

Tit 2:15..  ..These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

The one who rules in the home was also to likewise be over the church

1Ti 3:4..  ..One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
1Ti 3:5..  ..(For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

I never said Paul insinuated his authority was equal to God's word (you are putting words into my mouth). God's calling and His Word is what gives a MAN of God his authority.

I'm sorry, I'm seeing alot of blank space and missed the verse that says the preached word of God is not authoritative. But, since ya' asked, here's a lil' diddy fer ya':

Obey your leaders and submit to them (I know that stings your ultra-feminist agenda & paradigm ), for they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with grief, for this would be unprofitable for you.

For this reason we also constantly thank God that when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but for what it really is, the word of God, which also performs its work in you who believe.

Can ya' see the connection between obeying the preacher & the Word of God - lemme' guess - you don't see it eh' ?

Next?
Now, be careful what you post because you are going to have to backtrack now. Women were elders and leaders as well. I'm sure you are now going to show where Paul exempted men from obeying them, right?

This response has nothing to do with what I said, not in the least. Are my questions that difficult to answer? Really?

Again, when Paul wrote those letters, they were NOT the Word of God. NONE of them. I give you the Words of Jesus Himself, and you counter with Paul's. In doing so, you equate Paul to Jesus, which is why I said you insinuate that Paul's authority was equal to God's.

Again, who is Jesus speaking about in Matt 28:19?

If it was given to women to baptize where did they baptize IN THE BIBLE? There is about 90 years of Biblical record after Mat 28:19. Sis Alvear said half of the MINISTERS Paul recognized were women, surely they were not disobedient if Mat 28:19 was instructions given to women? Don't forget to answer the questions.

1 Where did women baptize in the Bible?
2 Since there is no record did they disobey?
