Number two, I never referred to this as something that I think is evil, I don't think it is evil, I think it is wasteful. My parents drive cars that are nicer than I think is necessary, I don't judge them for it, I know that they are not pride driven people. Funny story, when I was a very small boy, probably around 6-7, I was jealous because the other kids would come into school talking about shows they'd watched on TV the night before.

Well, one day my mother entered a drawing at the local grocery store (free, of course), hoping to win some free groceries.

Well, her number was picked, but she didn't win the groceries, instead we won a small television!!!!!!

Of course, she declined it, and I cried over the whole ordeal, and I asked my mother, "Mom, is it still a sin if we didn't BUY the TV?"

In fact, I don't know if it is true or not, but everytime I buy a new cpair of Runners I usually get Nike's when they are on sale.

Most pairs last me about 5 years.

I don't for the kids though, not while they are growing.

They either don't last long as they tear them up or they outgrow them.

I agree that modest living is a good thing. I just don't think that living cheaply is the equivalent of modesty. Nor is it handling money wisely, IMO.

Well, I would be the better steward because I would find a sale and buy five $200 dresses on sale for $50 each!!!!!
