As far as the kids and the sex thing.......My kid in Pre-K last year asked my wife in the middle of Wal-Mart to explain sex to her. Without a missing a beat my wife replied "it's if you are a boy or a girl". People on the aisle applauded her.

We have taught all three girls from the age they could talk, that their private areas was "her business" and NOBODY talks about their business except mommy and daddy, if mommy thinks he needs to know.

We have bought RR's books, but add the inward issues to the discussion if the books are read. We are greatful that someone has taken the time to try to write something that we believe. But just because the schools teach evolution doesn't mean we are not going to let them go to school or hide them from it...........we are going to teach them what we believe and teach them that not everybody believes the same. We don't have to believe everything we see, hear, read, etc.....but we have to weigh it with what we believe.

I had a guy in our church give me a set of expensive WW2 books as a young teenager. When my grandmother came to visit my grandmother ripped out several pages of them because they had some pictures of asome vegas style dancers in short dresses, etc. To this day I get extremely ticked about it because I have these great books, that were worth some money, but now they are not worth much.

While I am on my rant, If we had taught our teenagers the consequences of sleeping round like std's, babies. 216 payments of child support, etc instead of saying I don't have to give you a reason, I just said no, could we have prevented a whole lot of troubles and heartache.
Recently I heard had a young person tell my wife a guy had convinced her to let him have an*l sex. He told her it wasn't sex because it wasn't normal. Her question was why wasn't I tought about things.

If we had been taught relationships, not just because "I said so" then we wouldn't have this issue with the TV vote etc. I know of churchs preaching against the internet. TEACH ME WHY NOT TELL ME NO!
