LOL, no they were different statements, but anyway, do you see my point or not? It's not that I literally want you to list all the laws. It's that nobody can definitively discern what they are, and that simply saying follow the Word of God is not enough. There
is a law in the OT about killing rebellious children. We don't follow it now. But a lot of AFFers seem to think some of the OT laws are still binding. Tithing, e.g. Most of the Ten Commandments, e.g. But most of us don't think eating shell fish is an abomination, these days. And blended fabric isn't going to send anyone to hell, anymore. (Or will it?)
How do you decide? And how do you decide which NT commands are binding? Should women keep silent in church? Must we sell all we have and give it to the poor to enter the Kingdom? Abstain from meat offered to idols (depending on which part of the NT you look at, that's either forbidden or not) and from blood?
Maybe you decide based on
what makes sense to you. Seems to me that
everyone "picks and chooses" what to follow, while deriding people like me for doing just that. (Of course, I don't pick or choose anywhere near as many scriptures to follow as most here do!
